Part-Time Youth Program Coordinator

Habitat for Humanity Huronia

Part-time: 15-30 hours/week

Contract term: May–Oct 2026

Location: On-site Barrie, Alliston, Collingwood

Rate: $22.00 / hr


About the Role

Habitat for Humanity Huronia is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to lead the ReStore Youth Skills & Mentorship Program.

The role focuses on coordinating hands-on youth training within Habitat Huronia’s ReStores, while also supporting other programs and organizational needs as required. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys youth engagement, community-based work, and contributing across multiple initiatives in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate youth program delivery across multiple ReStore locations
  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and support youth participants
  • Support employability and workplace skills development activities
  • Coordinate and support senior volunteer mentors
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners
  • Track participation, program data, and outcomes for reporting
  • Support completion of required participant surveys and basic evaluation activities
  • Provide general program and operational support for other Habitat Huronia initiatives as needed


Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Experience working with youth, volunteers, or in a program support role
  • Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work across multiple locations
  • Comfort working in active retail, warehouse, or community environments
  • Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
  • Safety boots CSA green label required
  • Clean Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check Required

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data entry, tracking, or basic data analysis
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or participant databases
  • Comfort working across multiple digital platforms and tools
  • Experience supporting social media or basic digital communications
  • Interest or experience using AI tools to support efficiency or content creation
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
