Since 1988, CSI Massachusetts has served hundreds of adults with disabilities in the South Shore and Cape Cod areas. Our Mission is, "helping persons with disabilities to find happiness in their own homes, in their personal relationships and contributing members of their community."
Program Director Overview
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a happy, meaningful life. As a Program Director (PD), you will oversee the operation and oversight of several Program Managers (PM) / Assistant Program Managers (APM), who have leadership responsibilities for Direct Support Professionals (DSP). You will be responsible for leading by example through our core values: respect, integrity, innovation, compassion, accountability and perseverance. Ultimately, you gain the opportunity to practice and live out the traits of a Servant Leader by helping persons supported to pursue their dreams and find happiness in their homes, in their personal relationships and as contributing members of their community.
Schedule and Salary
This position is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm with travel throughout the South Plymouth area. On-call support is rotated between leaders on a weekly basis, including Saturday and Sunday availability to answer occasional phone calls. The pay for this position is $72,091.76 annual salary.
Program Director Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings prior experience in direct care and a strong track record of effectively supervising staff. Must have minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare and/or nonprofit settings. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study is required.
You bring a thoughtful approach to boundary-setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt as priorities evolve. You are energized by the opportunity to build and refine program infrastructure while supporting a team that is growing alongside you.
The PD will also possess, exhibit and have shown successful leadership in:
  • Keen sense of leadership, with the ability to nurture and grow other leaders
  • Flexibility to adapt and change to current needs and the ability to effectively communicate such changes
  • Oversight experience and support in multiple community residential living environments including shared living programs with case management supports
  • Thorough knowledge of:
    • licensing and DDS / MCB funding requirements;
    • the Individual Plan (IP) process; from initiation to implementation;
    • positive behavior support concept and techniques;
  • Professional writing and communication skills commensurate with the position
  • Identification and growth of new leaders, via teaching, coaching, mentoring and onboarding
  • Identification, implementation and use of innovative concepts, practices and/or technology, in order to promote greater independence and happiness for the persons supported
  • Verify account of organizational resources and funds of persons supported and assist teams with routine maintenance of company property
