Maintenance Technician
Certification Requirement
CPO Certification (Certified Pool Operator)

Safety and Security
  • Checking interior and exterior buildings for any structural integrity issues.
  • Checking for Glass breakage.
  • Checking for damage to doors and enclosures.
  • Checking for safety issues in the PPOA common grounds and fence line.
  • Appropriate signage.
  • Repairs as needed.
  • Handle basic preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Keep the grounds in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Monitor the upkeep and maintenance of the landscaping and grounds daily.
  • Cleans sidewalks and disposes of debris and trash properly.
  • Assist other staff with larger maintenance repairs or projects

Upkeep and Repair of Buildings and Common Grounds (included but not limited to)
  • Pool area within the fence line

Compensation:
$21.00/hour; direct experience highly considered.
Schedule:
Sunday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM; Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
  • Knowledge of equipment such as lawnmowers, blowers, and trimmers, and be familiar with a variety of gardening tools to be used for different purposes.
  • They must also be reliable and physically fit, as their job can be quite labor-intensive.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and a team player.
  • Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instruction
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • This position may be required to fill in for a building maintenance technician, including occasional high ladder work.
  • Pond maintenance knowledge is a plus.
  • Certified Pool Operator required, along with a current valid driver's license.
