POSITION SUMMARY
Join a fun, fast-paced team! Help needed maintaining cleanliness of Food Court areas. Applicants will be considered for all Food and Beverage locations based on need, skills, experience and ability as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Bussing tables, work deli station, steam table, beverage and salad bar, promoting zero waste initiative, and attending to the compost area
  • All duties to include knowledge and action in performing all safety standards, always
  • Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria and food stations.
  • Stocking of napkins, condiments, silverware and beverage station including CO2 Replacement
  • Wiping of tables, and trays
  • Inside/outside furniture set up and breakdown, as needed
  • Orchestrate guest orders while helping to maintain efficiencies
  • Operate cash registers and credit card machines
  • Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area
  • Carry out food for outdoor deck food orders
  • Stock food display items adjacent to cashier stands, or in Expo area
  • Count deposit and bank at end of day
  • Handle lost and found articles
  • Inside/outside furniture set up and breakdown
  • Snow removal as needed
  • Clearing trays from tables and disposing properly
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of previous work history/education required
  • Good guest service skills with the public; previous guest service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience required
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Previous fast-food experience preferred
  • Handle stress and must be friendly with public
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Speak and understand basic English
  • Intermediate skiing/riding ability required for certain locations
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporationโ€™s Service Excellence standards
  • Must have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employment
  • Must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporationโ€™s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporationโ€™s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 35-40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be willing to work outside
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Speak and understand basic English
