Job description

Overview
Walk-in any time during open hours to complete an application! Visit the Registration building at The Breakers Resort 2104 North Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, ensuring menu items meet presentation and quality standards, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, monitoring ingredient quality, and managing stock levels efficiently, among other duties.
Responsibilities
Line Cook responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and stock products when there are shortages
  • Other duties as assigned
