Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for effectively maintaining all plumbing equipment in the Hotel/Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Perform excellent customer service at all time.
Repairs and replaces all plumbing related devices and/or equipment.
Maintains fluid systems throughout the Hotel/Casino.
Monitors water conservation, repairing leaks as necessary.
Unclogs sanitary and raw drain systems.
Maintains insulation of all heated and chilled water piping.
Routinely inspects all plumbing equipment in the Hotel/Casino, identifying potential problems, and resolving it.
Maintains an adequate supply of materials related to plumbing.
Ensures structural integrity of existing plumbing systems, making recommendations for improvements, as appropriate.
Maintain facility water filtration system.
Installs new plumbing systems as needed; constructs shelves and storage areas; repair walls and ceilings.
Maintains a working knowledge of plumbing standards and codes that apply to Hotel/Casino plumbing systems. Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
Maintain water and effluent pumps and controls.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
Operates company vehicles as required.
Responsible for all general maintenance and repair functions throughout the facility.
Supports other Engineers as needed and directed.
Any reasonable request made by management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Must have five years plumbing experience, and must be able to read blueprints of plumbing systems. Welding experience preferred. Knowledge of VFD's, motor controls
and transducers is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journals, policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
