CAPTAIN OR COUPLE TEAMOYSTER 745
Location: Worldwide Cruising
Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity:
An Oyster 745 is seeking either an experienced Solo Captain/Engineer or a Couple Team to join the yacht as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sailing professionals looking to join a well-maintained Oyster yacht in an owner-use environment. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards while ensuring a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
Captain/Engineer:
- Safe operation and navigation of the yacht
- Passage planning and watchkeeping
- Management of yacht maintenance and engineering
- Troubleshooting onboard systems and equipment
- Monitoring and maintaining onboard electronics
- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Maintaining high standards of yacht presentation
Cook/Deck/Stew:
- Guest hospitality and service
- Interior housekeeping and presentation
- Meal preparation and provisioning
- Supporting deck operations when required
- Assisting with docking, lines, and fenders
- Helping maintain a welcoming onboard environment
Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed (or equivalent)
- Valid B1/B2 Visa essential (or US nationality)
- Proven offshore sailing experience
- Strong engineering, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of onboard electronics and yacht systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
