Commodity Risk Management Analyst - Decatur, IL
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Produce, validate and reconcile the market and operational risk reports aligning closely with commercial
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on margin / P&L effects within the North American AS&O businesses
  • Act as a business partner to provide and analyze the risk position data to support commercial decision making
  • Provide support for the implementation and utilization of key global CRM initiatives
  • Partner with the commercial team to define/adjust risk position limits, actively monitor adherence, and promptly escalate any issues
  • Assist with data driven projects to enhance risk performance, accuracy and insights.
Your Profile
  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Finance, Risk management, Economics or other relevant field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, merchandising, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally programming languages like Python, SQL or others
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Power BI, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
  • Knowledge of Databricks a plus
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in Commodity Trading, both physical and derivative trades (preference Agricultural Market)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage cross departmental priorities.
  • Open mindset for change and aptitude for continuous improvement
