Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager Supply Management, Risk Management to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing commodity market risk exposure. The successful candidate will apply risk management principles toward commodity markets to assist in developing market prices and projections, as well as work with finance to put together indices for internal and external inflation. This role participates in RFP discussions when looking at formula, market-based approaches and possible hedging opportunities. 

This is a remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere within the U.S.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure Monitor and report on market trends and risks
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes that might affect risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business initiatives
  • Manage relationships with preferred suppliers and clients
  • Act as a resource for colleagues and provide insight into markets and trends
  • Data management for tracking, monitoring, projecting inflation
  • Updating indices for internal and external inflation
  • Develop and maintain market prices and projections
