Job description

Global Product Director, Commodity Trading Data Analytics

Global leading provider of commodity trading data management, analytics, and decision-support solutions provider seeks an experienced Product Director to lead their global Commodity Trading Analytics business based from anywhere in the US, but ideally able to spend 1 day per week or 1 week per month working out of their Colorado HQ.

Working with the worldโ€™s leading utilities, energy merchants, trading firms, and financial institutions worldwide, my client has a handful of platforms that empower commercial and risk teams with the data, models, and insights they need to operate with confidence in complex, fast-moving markets.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Director of Product Management, Analytics is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product vision and roadmap across the companyโ€™s Global analytics capabilities. This spans the full analytics product surface โ€” including their quantitative modeling and risk tools, AI-driven analytical features, data visualization and reporting, and emerging analytics capabilities being developed across the broader product portfolio.

This is a high-impact, cross-product role that requires a rare combination of domain expertise in energy and commodities markets, deep comfort with quantitative and AI-based analytics, and the leadership skills to align engineering, data science, and commercial teams around a coherent analytics strategy. The Director will serve as the companyโ€™s Global internal and external authority on analytics product direction โ€” championing innovation while staying grounded in what clients need today.

As well as being hands-on in formation and execution of the commodity trading product roadmap, you will also manage a global team across UK/Europe, US and Asia.
