Job description

Do you believe that true hospitality is an art form? Do you thrive at the intersection of luxury service and proactive sales execution?

At Hammer & Nails Broomfield, our Member Concierges are the heartbeat of the sanctuary. We are seeking a founding Lead Member Concierge—a high-potential professional who will flawlessly execute our guest experience and membership sales engine while actively preparing to step into the Assistant General Manager role as we grow. We treat our team members like family, because we know that deep care on the inside naturally translates to an ultimate, restorative retreat for our guests.

THE MISSION: UNREASONABLE HOSPITALITY & SALES

Our vision is to provide a luxurious home away from home for the modern man. You are the architect of this experience. Your daily focus is simple: Connection and Growth.

  • Anticipating the Unvoiced: Remembering names, preferences, and a member’s favorite beverage so it is poured and ready before they even ask.

  • The Membership Engine: Acting as our lead sales catalyst—introducing first-time guests to our luxury grooming rituals and confidently closing subscription memberships and high-end retail.

  • Cultivating "Home": Creating an inviting, premium lounge environment where every guest feels instantly known, valued, and relaxed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Membership Acquisition: Drive the financial success of the shop by hitting monthly membership sales and retail metrics.

  • Sanctuary Theater: Orchestrate the lounge experience, executing our signature check-in and check-out rituals with flawless grace.

  • Schedule Optimization: Act as "Air Traffic Control" using our custom booking software to maximize the efficiency and revenue of our Artists.

  • Emerging Leadership: Partner with ownership to master inventory, shop operations, and team coordination as you track toward management readiness.

THE "STACK YOUR PAY" COMPENSATIVE MODEL

We share our revenue with our leaders because you are a true partner in our growth. Our updated compensation rubric rewards excellence across every tier of performance:

  • Competitive Base Wage: An initial rate of $18.00 – $20.00 / hour based on previous experience.

  • Weekend Work Premium: Receive a +$1.00/hour wage adjustment for all scheduled hours worked over the weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

  • Uncapped Membership Commissions: Earn a 10% commission on the first month's dues of every membership sold.

  • Gift Card Commissions: Earn a 10% commission on all shop gift card sales.

  • The "Hospitality" Review Bonus: Earn an extra $5.00 increment per five-star review that mentions you by name.

  • Sign-On Reward: A $250 bonus paid out after successfully completing your initial 90-day probation period.

  • Shop Membership Milestones: Receive a $250 cash bonus at each level as our community grows: 500 members, 750 members, 1,000 members, and 1,200 members.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Earn up to $500 based on overall shop metrics, evaluated by your five-star reviews, achieving a >80% secret shopper score, net profit, and gross revenue (available to employees with 7+ months of tenure).

  • Long-Term Career Growth: Wage advancements are structured around an annual review cycle. Your performance rating is heavily driven by your day-to-day excellence, weighted 80% on cumulative monthly KPIs (guest reviews, rebookings, and covenant adherence) and 20% on year-end leadership and peer calibration

OUR COVENANT & STANDARDS

We protect our family and our vibe fiercely. We live by three non-negotiables:

  1. "Adults Like Adults": A high-accountability, zero-tolerance policy for workplace drama, politics, or gossip.

  2. The 15/20 Ritual: We arrive 15 minutes early to set the stage for our team, and stay 20 minutes late for a pristine reset. We pay a premium because we expect an elite start and finish.

  3. The Helping Hand: We win together. No task is too small—from pouring a top-shelf whiskey to sweeping a floor—to protect the sanctuary experience.

WHO YOU ARE

You have 2+ years of success in luxury hospitality, high-end retail sales, premium boutique fitness (e.g., Orangetheory, Equinox), or upscale dining. You are a natural closer who loves people, possesses intense emotional intelligence, and has a clear, burning desire to grow your career into business operations and leadership.
