Job description

Do you want to work with the assembly, service and sales of bicycles and fitness equipment. At Ace Bike and Fitness you would help our team assemble new bikes, repair bikes brought in for service and assist customers to find the perfect new bike. We strive to provide professional customer service both in our repair shop and on the sales floor.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInclude the following

Other duties may be assigned.Customer Service:Provide a positive representation of Ace Bike and Fitness.Proactively assist customers in solving problems.Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.Essential functions:Knowledge of basic bike mechanics, this includes replacing bicycle inner tubes, fixing brakes, adjusting shifting components and cleaning of bicycles.Knowledge of bike shop retail items.Knowledge of local bike trail systems.Competence in sizing and fitting customers to new bicycles.Demonstration and enthusiasm towards cycling.Enforce bike shop policies while working with customers bicycles.This is the perfect job for someone with a passion for cycling. Each day you will help customers with the repairs and maintenance of bicycles to Trek Bicycle Company standards

Customers look to us for advice and having experience with the products is the best way to be able to provide that information. Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment is essential. We utilize Trek University to help train new associates which is an online training school to help learn about our primary brand along with their parts and accessories.
