Job description

The F&B Attendant is responsible for providing superior guest service to casino patrons while assisting with food preparation, serving, bussing of tables and cashiering. Additional duties may include greeting guests, fulfilling orders in the deli, assisting with banquets, fills temp logs for equipment, cleans and maintains areas for various F&B outlets in the casino. Performs additional duties as assigned by the department manager.
Starting wage is $17.03/hr increasing to $17.61/hr plus tips at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have one year restaurant experience to include cash handling, processing of credit transactions and food handling
  • Previous experience as a busser or hostess is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have good manual and finger dexterity
  • Must be able to understand department policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have a valid Washington State Food Handler's card
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

COMPETENCIES:
The F&B Attendant demonstrates strong knowledge of bussing, hosting, cashiering, and food service in restaurant, kitchen, deli, banquet, and buffet settings. They operate computerized POS and F&B systems with ease, handle cash and daily receipts accurately, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments. They prepare and assemble food items promptly and with care, greet guests warmly, and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The F&B Attendant maintains a clean, safe, and organized workspace while delivering excellent service.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
