We are hiring a full‑time Salesman & Project Estimator to estimate, scope, sell projects and help drive projects from evaluation to successful resolution. This is a hybrid role with work‑from‑home flexibility, supported by fieldwork throughout CT and surrounding states. You’ll represent United Property Restoration Services on high‑impact projects, shape client outcomes, and contribute to business growth through strong communication and technical estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for large‑scale residential and commercial projects.
  • Collaborate with property owners, adjusters, attorneys, and carriers to define scope and expectations.
  • Use advanced field technologies such as Matterport, HOVER, moisture mapping, and produce professional estimates using Xactimate.
  • Support negotiations, prepare supplements and change orders, and produce clear supporting documentation.
  • Provide client updates, track progress, and help manage select projects using a write‑and‑run model where appropriate.
  • Contribute to business development, helping expand United's relationships and footprint.
Qualifications:
  • Education and construction experiences preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Strong affinity for sales and customer interaction.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with advanced field technologies such as:
    • Xactimate estimating software.
    • Excel and Word.
    • Scheduling and Project management.
Compensation:
