How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day work plan for the U.S. Client Service Fund Accounting team, managing workflow, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, training, and performance leadership to accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Review and approve fund accounting deliverables, including P&L reporting, NAV calculations, pricing, and economic allocations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, partner capital statements, and other required client reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute plans for new client onboardings, fund launches, reorganizations, and platform conversions.
  • Resolve complex fund accounting and operational issues escalated by the team.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and industry expertise to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage the external audit process, working closely with auditors and clients to ensure timely completion.
  • Partner with internal teams on strategic initiatives, including new product development, process improvements, system enhancements, testing, and implementations.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of fund accounting experience with a hedge fund administrator
  • 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hedge fund accounting principles
  • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit support, and investor allocations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with a broad range of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, foreign exchange, mortgages, or options
  • Solid understanding of corporate actions and their accounting impact
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
