Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Commercial Strategy Senior Analyst plays a key role in developing and executing strategic, innovative commercial solutions for EVERSANA clients and prospects. This position serves as an advanced individual contributor, responsible for leading discrete strategy workstreams, shaping integrated solutions, and supporting client engagements with increasing independence.  Working closely with Commercial Strategy Managers, Business Development, and crossfunctional teams, the Senior Analyst applies strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills to assess market opportunities, design servicebased solutions, and develop compelling, clientready proposals. This role directly supports EVERSANA's revenue growth objectives while serving as a critical pipeline role for progression into a Commercial Strategy Manager position or other commercial roles within the organization. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Lead the development of strategic components of commercial solutions for EVERSANA clients and prospects, in partnership with Commercial Strategy leadership, Business Development, and Sales Operations
  • Serve as a core participant in client scoping calls, applying strategic judgment to understand client objectives, constraints, and success criteria
  • Independently develop highquality, clientready proposal content and strategic narratives (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with minimal oversight
  • Conduct and synthesize market assessments, competitive analyses, and opportunity evaluations to inform solution design
  • Coordinate with Commercial Operations and Finance to align strategic recommendations with validated financial assumptions and budgets
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and value articulation across proposals
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in business, life sciences, marketing, or related field preferred
  • 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in life sciences, healthcare consulting, commercial operations, analytics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and interest in the product commercialization lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional environments
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new concepts quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • The position requires occasional travel to EVERSANA facilities, clients and other industry events.

  • Coursework or experience related to market research, strategy, finance, or commercialization

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Office or Home Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. If working remotely (from home), employee will need to set up an appropriate home office, be available during normal business hours and occasionally outside business hours depending on priorities, and deal with a work environment that is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands via email, video chat, or phone.
