Job description

Job Title: Commercial Strategy Manager
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid- 3- 4 days Onsite)
Employment Type: 6 - 12 Months with possible extension
 
Job Summary:
The Commercial Strategy & Dev Mgr, Joint Projects, is responsible for project partner relationship management; development of negotiating strategies and positions; building consensus with internal and external stakeholders; and taking a lead role in negotiations of agreements, contract amendments, and other third-party contracts.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree required or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree; Plus
โ€ข 7 years of prior relevant experience required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข 9+ years of relevant experience preferred
โ€ข JD, Master''s degree or Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, transportation, law, or related field with at 7-9 years of relevant business and planning experience, including at least years in the transportation industry. 
โ€ข Experience in working with governmental agencies or commuter agencies.
โ€ข Experience in negotiating complex issues and drafting appropriate contract terms with federal, state, and local officials and private industry representatives.
โ€ข Knowledge of FAR and other government regulations
โ€ข Project management experience
