Job Description:This role serves as a central point across functions to translate strategy into actionable plans, drive clarity on priorities, and ensure consistent execution through structured communication and governance. The Commercial Strategy Manager is responsible for driving annual planning processes with alignment between sales, marketing, products, and finance. The role establishes sales priority frameworks and optimizes sales coverage models to enable profitable growth.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 - 120,000 annually plus 10% AIP eligibility. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. The ideal candidate will reside in central or east coast of the US.
Core responsiblities:
Outcomes/Measures of Success
  • % of Major Initiatives evaluated through formal prioritization framework - reduction in duplicate or conflicting initaitves across functions
  • Increase in revenue per rep, reduction in territory inbalance (workload / opportunity variance)
  • Increase in penetration of target accounts
  • Timely completion of annual planning deliverables and milestones with leadership alignment

Owns:
  • Territory coverage models including role structures, responsibilities, and design of customer segmentation structures
  • Communication of organizational or customer updates to the sales organization, including leading monthly All Sales Calls
  • Account Planning process and prioritization frameworks / governance for what promotions, products, etc are targeted to the field
  • Annual commercial planning process and coordination of inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure plans are clearly translated into actionable targets with clear and consistent timelines

Recommends:
  • Product Launches through the governance of the Sales Activation Process along with recommendations of adjustments to priorities, coverage based on performance insights
  • Leadership presentation materials, playbooks, and rollout materials for consistent messaging across functions
  • Prioritization through data-driven, measurable targets and initiatives

Qualifying Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required with 6-8+ years in strategy, sales operations, or consulting roles
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with proven ability of structured problem-solving skills
  • Experience leveraging reporting tools and dashboards to monitor performance, trends, and drive recommendations around strategy
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills with ability to identify clear, actionable plans from complex topics or issues
  • Advanced Excel, PowerBI, presentation skills; strong familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems
  • Understanding of healthcare procurement processes and contracting preferred
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%)
