We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Innovation based in Jacksonville, FL.

Purpose: The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Innovation will play a critical role in shaping and accelerating growth across the Vision Americas organization. This individual will identify, evaluate, and lead strategic initiatives that unlock new sources of value for customers, patients, and the business across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM markets.

Partnering closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Commercial Operations, Business Intelligence, and Global Vision teams, this leader will translate strategic opportunities into actionable plans that drive commercial performance, strengthen competitive advantage, and enhance customer and patient experiences. The role requires balancing long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver measurable business impact.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving Commercial Excellence - strengthening capabilities, processes, and decision-making to improve execution, effectiveness, and competitiveness.
  • Innovating Customer Partnerships - identifying and scaling new partnership models that create mutual value and deepen customer engagement.
  • Elevating the Patient Experience - championing initiatives that simplify the patient-provider journey and improve health outcomes.
  • Accelerating Growth Opportunities - identifying new commercial models, capabilities, and market opportunities that drive sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative leader with the ability to transform complex business challenges into actionable solutions. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Shape and drive commercial strategy for Vision Americas organization by utilizing a data-driven approach to guide decision-making, planning and implementation of the strategic roadmap.
  • Lead mission critical projects that will drive incremental growth and value creation for the Vision Americas Teams while scaling solutions across regions/businesses.
  • Identify future state opportunities utilizing SWOT / competitor gap analysis and market predictions to further optimize commercial operations for the pursuit of new capabilities, business model innovation, and commercial go-to-market strategies.
  • Establish governance and POD structures to create synergies and high-performing teams.
  • Operationalize strategic recommendations and commercial excellence propositions with change management and continuous process improvement principles to drive impact through execution.
  • Partner with Finance during critical business cycles to allocate investments aligned to strategy, drive commercial efficiencies & effectiveness, and support agile go-to-market plans that will drive incremental value, sales performance, and share growth.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Business Intelligence stakeholders to provide thought leadership and deliver of the strategic roadmap.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews of critical success metrics, analytics, KPI dashboards & status progress updates with respective leadership forums to facilitate strategic alignment, enhance productivity, and strengthen commercial prioritization.
  • Lead strategic business reviews and communicate recommendations to senior leadership through clear, compelling, and data-driven storytelling.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking across the organization.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Finance, or related field.
  • Effective collaboration with multiple partners across a matrix organization.
  • Prioritize and to successfully lead multiple projects/priorities as the solely responsible individual (DRI) in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Establish a vision, a project plan and then implement proactively, be it independently or within a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, professionalism and presentation skills.

  • Medical Device or Healthcare sector experience; Optometry and/or Ophthalmology
