The role

Job Summary


The NORAM Collections Manager will have the outstanding opportunity to craft and refine our collections processes. This vital role ensures the financial health of the business by improving cash flow and reducing bad debt. You will develop and successfully implement effective collection strategies, collaborate with dedicated regional teams, and maintain positive relationships with our valued customers.

This role requires a problem solver that takes initiative with proven analytical and interpersonal skills for growing in a multifaceted and multicultural environment.  You will play a key role in leading the existing Collections team based in our Finance Shared Service Center, ensuring adherence to financial controls, and contributing to the efficient operation of the department.

Role & Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement world-class collection strategies to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt. 
  • Supervise and analyze collections processes and results to ensure continuous improvement and detailed execution. 
  • Collaborate with regional collections and sales teams to share standard methodologies, ensuring consistent and optimized processes. 
  • Cultivate effective communication and problem-solving by building positive relationships with key customers, collaborators, and team members. 
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in various markets. 
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management regarding the status and performance of collections activities. 
  • Resolve and address any potential risks in the collections process to ensure risk mitigation and positive audit outcomes. 
  • Enlist the support of cross-functional teams across regions, product areas, and functions. 
  • Lead a team of professionals and/or supervisors, holding them accountable for their performance and results. 
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities as needed to address resource constraints or operational challenges.

  • Proven experience in Collections management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.)

  • Reduce aged receivables and bad debt exposure through proactive overdue account management, disciplined write-off controls, and accurate risk forecasting. 
  • Strengthen collections processes, reporting, and controls by improving dispute resolution, invoice-to-cash efficiency, audit compliance, and forecast accuracy. 
  • Lead a high-performing collections team while building strong partnerships with Sales, Finance, regional stakeholders, and key customer accounts.

Target compensation for this role will be $105K - 120K USD (mix of base salary and bonus). Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) candidates’ qualifications, experience, education, and work location.
