Job Responsibilities:
  • Assume full ownership of the accounts receivable portfolio to reduce DSO
  • Assess and develop the credit team through targeted training and mentorship
  • Author and implement formal credit protocols and department policies
  • Serve as a liaison between the credit department and branch sales teams
  • Manage notice to owner processes and lien filings
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve department automation
  • Establish trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and customers
  • Monitor weekly revenue flow to ensure consistent company liquidity

Job Requirements:
  • Extensive credit and collections experience within the construction or industrial sectors
  • Technical proficiency in lien laws and NTO requirements for AL, GA, and FL
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a professional administrative team
  • Strong interpersonal skills for firm yet diplomatic collections
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating customer creditworthiness and setting limits
  • High proficiency in accounting software and modern automation tools
  • Self-motivated work style with a focus on process improvement
  • Ability to travel occasionally to various branches and customer locations
