Job description

In this fast-paced, high energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure all of our team members are in proper uniform and happy with our service? As a Wardrobe Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Wardrobe department, respond to team members' inquiries, and supervise Wardrobe Clerks and Seamstresses as they provide assistance to our team members. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission, vision, and values.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
  1. *Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  2. *Ensures processed records and data input is accurate to include all inventory transactions related to uniform/wardrobe issue, returns, repair, replacements, laundry and alterations.
  3. *Communicates both verbally and written to departments providing information on terminations, new hires, reissues, repairs, credits, and any other operational information.
  4. *Assists department management in gathering statistical data and provides management with reports and analysis of data.
  5. Communicates and informs management of appropriate pending departmental issues related to their job and any issues related to their operational shift.
  6. Participates in cycle counts, monthly and year-end physical inventories.
  7. Maintains a neat and organized work area.
  8. Suggests and helps write procedures related to areas of responsibility.
  9. Provides Management with suggestions on how to improve the customer service and operation of the department.
  10. Responsible for assigning/un-assigning of slots to employees on the conveyor system. This includes proper assignment in the computer system and physical labeling on garment bags on the conveyor.
  11. Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  1. Minimum of two (2) years inventory, warehouse, logistics, receiving or related work experience. Uniform/Wardrobe department experience preferred.
  2. Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  3. One year supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Ability to work well with others in a team building environment, but also work independently with little supervision.
  5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.
  6. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  7. Office skills, ability to use standard office equipment and computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  8. Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possesses integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  9. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  10. Bar code scanning experience required.
  11. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  12. General knowledge of sizing and fitting of garments and operation of sewing machine.
  13. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to operate a personal computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance.
  14. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor the noise level increases and it is not smoke free.
