We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of high-end custom residential construction projects throughout Palm Beach County. This role serves as a critical link between the office and field teams, helping ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the exceptional quality standards expected. Client Details Well established Luxury Home Builder focused on projects in Palm Beach County. Strong team of professionals with many years building the best homes. Description Project Management Support Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of luxury residential construction projects. Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables from pre-construction through project closeout. Support bidding, procurement, and subcontractor buyout activities. Track project budgets, commitments, contracts, change orders, and cost reports. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes. Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates to internal and external stakeholders. Construction Administration Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals. Review architectural plans, specifications, and consultant documents for completeness and constructability. Track permit applications, inspections, and municipal approvals. Maintain project documentation and electronic filing systems. Coordinate utility services, third-party inspections, testing, and specialty consultants. Field Coordination Work closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient project execution. Assist in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and construction activities. Conduct site visits to verify work progress and document project status. Help identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality. Support punch list development and project closeout activities. Client & Design Team Coordination Participate in owner, architect, designer, and consultant meetings. Document and track client selections, revisions, and change requests. Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients and design professionals. Help ensure client expectations are met throughout the construction process. Quality Control Support implementation of company quality standards and procedures. Assist with inspections and verification of completed work. Monitor compliance with construction documents, building codes, and project specifications. Promote jobsite safety and adherence to company policies. Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or related field; or equivalent industry experience. 2-5 years of construction experience, preferably in custom residential or luxury home construction. Understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project documentation. Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Palm Beach County.
