Job description

1st Class Foam is seeking an experienced and highly organized Roofing Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial roofing, leadership experience, and an emphasis on foam and coating systems.
This is a key role in coordinating crews, managing schedules, and acting as a communication hub between field teams, office staff, and customers. The Right Team Member will be able to jump in and join the team, both in the office and in the field. This is not a desk job. Estimated split will vary but 70% field and 30% office is a good start.
 
Responsibilities
 
●     Supervise and coordinate all on-site roofing activities across multiple crews and job sites.
●     Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols, building codes, and company standards.
●     Oversee project timelines and daily work schedules to meet or exceed deadlines.
●     Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
●     Communicate effectively with project managers, estimators, foremen, and clients.
●     Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions quickly to avoid project delays.
●     Track labor, materials, and productivity to keep jobs on budget.
●     Conduct job site meetings and safety briefings.
●     Train and mentor field personnel, promoting a culture of accountability and craftsmanship.
●     Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, reports, and material usage.
 
Requirements
 
●     Proven experience as a Roofing Superintendent, Foreman, or similar supervisory role.
●     Deep understanding of foam roofing systems, coating applications, and flat roof systems.
●     Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
●     Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
●     Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
●     Ability to work in commercial and residential environments and extreme heat
●     Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
●     Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
●     Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
●     Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
