Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Chemical Supervisor to oversee chemical cleaning operations and lead teams of chemical cleaners on industrial projects throughout Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate chemical cleaning crews (5-15 workers)
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Plan and execute chemical cleaning procedures and protocols
  • Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Monitor chemical inventory and usage
  • Coordinate with project managers and client representatives
  • Investigate and report any incidents or safety concerns
  • Train and mentor junior staff on proper procedures
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • H2S certification (H2S Clear)
  • First Aid certification
  • TWIC card
  • Minimum 5 years experience in chemical cleaning operations
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in industrial settings
  • Strong knowledge of chemical safety and environmental regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Confined space supervisor certification
  • Previous supervisory experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry
  • Hazmat certification

Schedule: Variable based on project requirements, subject to change
