POSITION SUMMARY

The Coat Check Attendant is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of guest services during all events and functions within the Theatre.ย 

MAJORY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Presents themselves in an upbeat, positive, professional, and friendly manner with guests and teammates

Collects coats, bags, and umbrellas, from guests in a courteous manner.

Collects a coat check fee from guests

Accurately accounts for all items checked in at coat check with corresponding tickets

Collects payment from guest and accurately rings payment in the POS system

Adheres to the theatre's Food & Beverage policies as outlined in our handbook

Says Thank you to each guest at the end of each transaction

Returns items back to the guests at the end of the event

Responsible for handing out and collecting Assisted listening devices and cushions to guests as needed.

Responsible for assisting guests with wheelchairs as needed


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:ย 

Knowledge and experience working coat check within a large Theatre or high-volume environment

Must be receptive to working in inclement weather and extreme temperatures

Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend and Holiday hours

Work successfully in a fast paced and loud environment

Able to lift and carry 25 lbs

Required to stand for long periods of time; ability to bend, lift, and walk up and down stairs

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Strong spirit of optimism and collaboration.
