Job Title: Program Manager(Admin & Coaching Role)
Compensation:
$22/hr, with room for advancement
Hours: 10-20 hours a week, depending on the season, with room to add more. Some evenings and Saturday mornings are required.
Location: On-site at schools and park districts in Western Cook and Will Counties

About Soccer Shots:
Soccer Shots is a leading children's soccer program that teaches soccer skills while emphasizing character development, soccer skills, and fun. We seek an energetic and organized Program Manager to join our team. This role combines administrative tasks with coaching duties and requires strong leadership skills in training, hiring, and working with children ages 2-9.
Position Overview:
The Program Manager supports program operations and delivers high-quality coaching to children. This part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) will require 10-15 hours of coaching per week, and 5-10 hours of administrative work, depending on the season. Coaching is on-site at schools and park districts, and admin work is done from home.
During the fall, winter, and spring, you will assist the Director of Coaching with coaching and organizing our soccer league for children in PreK-8th grade in Lockport, IL.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with children.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a strong company culture.
  • Passion for developing childrens athletic and social skills in a positive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Some weekday, evening, and Saturday morning availability, we are closed on Sunday.
  • A love of sports. Soccer experience is not required, but a passion for youth sports is.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching:
    • Lead and assist in coaching sessions for children aged 2-9, focusing on fun and educational soccer experiences. Training, curriculum, and equipment are provided.
    • Lead and organize our soccer league practices and games during league seasons.
    • Adjust coaching strategies to meet the needs of each child and group.
  • Administrative:
    • Assist the Executive Director where needed.
    • Organize and support during marketing events.
  • Program Management:
    • Monitor the programs progress, ensuring it meets educational goals and company standards.
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and program quality.
    • Train coaches to be the best in the business and follow the Soccer Shots curriculum.
Compensation:
  • Starting pay: $22/hr
  • Compensation review after 6 months and again at the year mark.
