Job description

Accounts Payable Clerk

Quince & Co. | San Francisco, CA

Quince & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented AP Clerk to support the financial operations of one of San Francisco's leading restaurant groups. Working closely with our Controller, this role is responsible for accounts payable, vendor management, cash handling, and day-to-day accounting administration across our restaurants.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building organized systems, and takes pride in accuracy. The ideal candidate is collaborative, highly organized, and excited to support the financial health of a hospitality-driven organization.

What You'll Do
  • Process and manage accounts payable for multiple restaurant locations
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including payment terms, tax documentation, and remittance details
  • Maintain vendor tax records, including W-9 documentation, and prepare annual 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS requirements.
  • Ensure invoices are entered into Restaurant365 (R365) accurately and on time
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Prepare payment runs, print checks, and assist with payment processing
  • Create positive pay files for review
  • Monitor and manage the accounting inbox, responding to vendor and internal inquiries
  • Track outstanding accounting requests and maintain organized documentation
  • Manage company credit card documentation and ensure receipts are properly submitted
  • Partner with restaurant operations teams to ensure timely invoice submission and adherence to accounting procedures
  • Support the Finance team with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
What We're Looking For
  • 2–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience
  • Hospitality or restaurant accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to working with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Why Quince & Co.

Quince & Co. includes Quince, Cotogna, Verjus, and Fresh Run Farm. We are committed to thoughtful hospitality, operational excellence, and supporting exceptional teams behind the scenes as much as those on the restaurant floor. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and contribute to the success of a dynamic, multi-concept restaurant group.

If you're organized, dependable, and looking to build your accounting career within the hospitality industry, we'd love to hear from you.
