CNC Operator A well-established manufacturing company in West Chester is seeking a CNC operator. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Summary Operates and monitors Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used to mill, punch, drill, broach, thread, face, ream, and occasionally profile or contour metal and plastic components. Responsible for producing high-quality parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Performs routine and repetitive machining operations using established CNC programs, while following standard work instructions and safety procedures. Setups are typically prepared and maintained by experienced personnel, with the CNC Operator I focusing on machine operation, quality verification, and efficient production. Essential Functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to perform machining operations.
Operate and monitor CNC equipment to meet quality and production requirements. Load, unload, and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments. Record production data and utilize production control systems, including eKanban.
Perform routine machine adjustments, maintenance, and fluid servicing. Assist with tooling and machine component changes as needed. Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Basic math and mechanical aptitude. Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new processes and technologies.
Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
