Immediate Openings – 4 to 6 CNC Lathe Machinists Needed

hireCNC is recruiting 4–6 experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for an immediate contract opportunity with one of Louisiana's fastest-growing manufacturers.

This is an excellent opportunity for setup machinists looking to maximize their earnings through competitive hourly pay, substantial overtime, and $175/day per diem.

The primary need is for CNC Lathe Machinists, although experience with CNC mills is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Perform complete CNC machine setups
  • Load tooling and workholding
  • Set offsets and make program adjustments
  • Edit feeds and speeds as required
  • Run production while maintaining print tolerances
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
  • Read blueprints and follow travelers
  • Complete machine changeovers and teardown
  • Troubleshoot machining issues
  • Help train and mentor less experienced machinists

Senior-level machinists may also assist with:

  • CNC programming support
