MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows Cloud Engineer to join our Castle Net team. This is a remote position. You will leverage your strong technical background and knowledge to support Castle Net's hybrid cloud computing environments, to include deploying infrastructure, responding to and implementing security controls, and completing critical system modernization tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows Server infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions across Azure or AWS environments
  • Working with management, internal teams, and Castle Net stakeholders to successfully navigate cloud migration and system integration efforts
  • Documenting architectural designs and updating as necessary while maintaining a robust library of technical documentation, to include network diagrams for cloud capabilities, and making documentation available to all personnel with appropriate need-to-know
  • Maintaining, updating, and conducting routine system patching, configuration management, and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
  • Maintaining high-availability baselines and security event monitoring policies for mission-critical cloud applications
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning hybrid network systems that meet all architectural requirements
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and automation improvements for cloud provisioning and resource scaling

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Systems Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Significant experience navigating enterprise cloud deployments, especially as it relates to creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system architecture documentation
  • Significant experience meeting security requirements in Azure or AWS environments, managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
  • Experience working across a large team to drive a modernization agenda and working with complex, intertwined hybrid systems and data flows
  • Experience inventorying complex virtual networks, and with configuration management (patching, centralized authentication, virtual machine provisioning, etc.)
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation, particularly cloud architecture and security documentation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • Experience with enterprise cloud automation and CI/CD tools to support rapid deployment
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams, organize technical review boards, and drive change throughout an organization

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:
  • You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and server equipment.
  • You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering technical presentations.
  • You must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional and technical situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,800.00-$127,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
