Pay Range: $83,156.00 - $117,458.00 per year
Pay Transparency:
The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
The clinical Informatics specialist under the direction of the Informatics Manager integrates clinical science with multiple information management and analytical sciences to identify, define, manage, and communicate data, information, knowledge, and wisdom in clinical practice.
The clinical informatics specialist supports nurses, consumers, patients, the interprofessional healthcare team, and other stakeholders in the use of technology to support clinical care.
The clinical informatics specialist will work with individuals of other professions to maintain a climate of mutual respect and shared values.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • 3+ years of clinical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities

Required and Licenses Required:
  • RN or clinical licensure in NJ
  • Epic Clinical Informatics Accreditation preferred and Nursing ANCC/ HIMSS certifications preferred

Essential Functions:
  • Activities include but are not limited to collaborating with customers and other IT team members to partner to define problems
  • Participates in the design, development, implementation, education, and evaluation of technology in clinical areas
  • Responsible for advocacy, identification of issues, documentation, and escalation of issues
  • Communicate with patients, families, communities, and professionals in health and other fields in a responsive and responsible manner that supports a teams approach to the promotion and maintenance of health.
