About Us:

God Restoring Order (GRO) Community is a mental healthcare provider that specializes in trauma recovery services for males of color ages 5 and up. GRO services are grounded in an understanding of the neurological, biological and psychological effects of trauma. GRO services include mental health and wellness, stress management, and community outreach.


Position Summary:

GRO Community is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Clinical Assessor to provide structured clinical consultation and evaluation services for individuals served by our programs. This role is responsible for completing standardized screening tools, including the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment, Ohio Youth Assessment System (OYAS) and the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS). Assessors play a critical role in evaluating client needs and informing individualized service planning. Assessors are compensated based on productivity and have the opportunity to increase earnings by completing more

assessments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured clinical interviews and complete standardized assessments to determine an individualโ€™s needs for services and supports, eligibility, level of care, and appropriate diagnosis
  • Collect psychosocial, behavioral, and functional information to support individualized care recommendations
  • Accurately document findings and submit assessments in a timely manner.
  • Clinical Assessors are expected to consistently monitor and maintain their weekly productivity in alignment with organizational performance standards.
  • Submit performance data on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors and the Medical Admin to ensure high-quality client care
  • Attend required supervision sessions, team meetings, and professional development trainings
  • Maintain compliance with GRO Community and its entities policies, professional ethics, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Preferred knowledge may include community support programs, long-term care assessment, and level of care in medical, behavioral health, or related programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications.
  • Regularly collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Work to meet timelines in a fast-paced independent environment.

Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency with Google Office Suite (Gmail, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and working knowledge of computer applications
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Setting:

Employment Type:

  • W-2 employee
  • This is a full-time, onsite role with a five-day work week structure (3 direct service days and 2 administrative days).
  • Hybrid Schedule: (2) onsite office days and (3) remote days; subject to change based on departmental and business needs.

Minimum Weekly Requirement: 5 completed assessments

Maximum Weekly Cap: 10 completed assessments

Compensation:

  • Salary potential range for Bachelor's degree level: $60,000 to $85,000 annually
  • Salary potential range for Masters degree level: $70,000 to 100,000 annually
  • Fee- For-Service Compensation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field (required)
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • Prior experience with standardized clinical assessment tools such as CANS, OYAS or ORAS (preferred)
  • IM+CANS Certification is required at the time of hire, or within one month of the Human Resources onboarding date
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with biopsychosocial assessments
  • Social services work experience required/preferred
