Summary

Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a CT Technologist in the vibrant city of New London, CT. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential imaging services as part of the WCS Healthcare Partners. Immerse yourself in a collaborative setting with access to advanced medical technology and comprehensive support from interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Document and report findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current certifications in ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
  • Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and various CT procedures (e.g., coronary CTA, biopsies, etc.).
  • Ability to work evening and night shifts, with floating between designated facilities as needed.
  • Must obtain and maintain Rhode Island (RI) and Connecticut (CT) state licenses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
