Job Description

The Certifications Client Manager is responsible for management of North America to provide certify company management systems services to standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.This role requires the ability to successfully manage tasks and assignments in multiple areas. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities are critical to the success of this individual.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Relationships / Behavior 

  • Manage and build strong professional relationships directly with customers and internal stakeholdersthrough regular face to face meetings 
  • Knowledge ofcertification standards is required 
  • Promote and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction 
  • Advise customers on the best certification solutions 
  • Ensure the competitiveness and full compliance of UTAC services with the expectations and requirements of the Customer 
  • Calculate optimum audit durations in accordance with the international certification rules and submit a competitive quotation economically and technically (with the support of the operation team) 
  • Participate in Project Teams to explain and defend the Customer's view in terms of quality, costs, delivery times and to satisfy their requirements 

- Operations 

  • Work collaboratively with French back office (Certification Technical Center team) to calculate audit duration for in progress client and prospects 
  • Provide feedback and analysis to operations to improve/adjust/expand any Marketing strategies 
  • Completion and regular updating of account plans 
  • Maintain a high level of technical and application competence and utilize this certificationknowledge to drive Management system certification business 
  • Provide clear client overviews to the management 
  • Ensure that the Customers' requirements are all identified and well understood by the operation team 

- Commercial Skills 

  • Lead certification sales of UTAC in US and North America 
  • Drive the negotiation during business acquisition & recertification process Promote certification market in term of Cross selling 
  • Support operational teams in the framework agreement deployment 
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and adjacent market opportunities (new services / new standards) 
  • Meet sales targets and revenue growth targets 
  • Support the preparation of the budget, manage and report the selling prices and the order intake target list 
  • Responsible for the turnover and its evolution for US certification activities 
  • Manage a relationship with customers in case of claims and logistic/quality crisis 
  • Monitor and take the necessary actions to reduce overdue 

- Assists in supporting the UTAC culture and values (Integrity, Expertise, and Innovation) 

- Performs other duties as assigned 

Education and Skill Requirements: 

  • Key account management / commercial experience 

  • Experience in management system certificationor similar activities 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

  • Strong mathematical skills required

  • Basic computer skills are a must 

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to become proficient in any systems that we use (Concur, Kronos, etc.) 

  • Strong problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills required 

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders 

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills required 

  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills 

  • Strong attention to detail required 

  • Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude required 

  • Fluency in the English language is required 

  • Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area 

  • Self-starter, who can multi-task and possess strong communication skills 

  • Able to function as part of a team, with members of varying job levels, and work cooperatively toward team goals

Physical Requirements: 

  • Exposure to industry accepted chemicals and noise

  • Requirements include, but are not limited to stand, walk, sit, twist, bend, lift, see, speak, hear 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
