Client Accounting Services Supervisor
Who: An experienced accounting professional with 5-7 years of progressive experience and strong leadership skills.
What: Oversee daily accounting operations, manage month-end close, review team work, provide advisory services, and support financial reporting and analysis.
When: Full-time position available immediately.
Where: Hybrid role based in the Nashville-area office.

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for supervising the accounting function for dedicated clients, completing and reviewing month-end processes, collaborating across departments, providing fractional CFO/Controller advisory services, and developing the Client Accounting Services (CAS) team.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Complete and manage month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
โ€ข Review team bookkeeping and financial statements, providing coaching and development.
โ€ข Collaborate with tax and audit teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
โ€ข Deliver fractional CFO/Controller services as needed.
โ€ข Conduct monthly or quarterly financial advisory meetings with clients.
โ€ข Assist with budgets, forecasting, and financial analyses to support decision-making.
โ€ข Support senior management with special projects and initiatives.
โ€ข Utilize and learn accounting software and tools based on client needs.
โ€ข Participate in industry segment meetings and firm marketing activities.
โ€ข Mentor CAS team members and lead training initiatives.
โ€ข Meet monthly with direct reports to review billable budgets, realization, and goals.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
โ€ข 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
โ€ข Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
โ€ข Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-development abilities.
