Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our growing Southern Nevada office. HMC focuses its practice on Workers' Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA employer representation, and industrial insurance litigation. We represent a diverse client base-including employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators-and are known for delivering strategic, results-oriented advocacy.
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for aspiring attorneys to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a fast-paced litigation environment. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to all phases of case management and litigation strategy.

Responsibilities
Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal topics and provide summaries of findings to support the firm's attorneys.
Document Preparation: Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Case Management: Support case management tasks, such as scheduling court appearances, preparing case summaries and documents, and organizing case files.
Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and others as directed by the firm's attorneys.
• Be able to collaborate and work on a team as well as individually.
• Ability to meet or exceed monthly billing requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree. Must be currently in law school or have graduated from law school.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of the legal system and legal terminology.
