Northeastern Wayne School Corporation is accepting applications for Clerical Support at Northeastern Middle and Northeastern High School.
Summary:
Clerical Support is a vital part of the school community. The candidate must possess the ability to interact with the public, students, staff, and administrators in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Necessary training will be provided.

Duties and Expectations:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Punctuality and reliability of attendance
  • Manage office workflow for the middle and high school including, but not limited to:
    Reception
    Telephone, Email, ParentSquare, Google Communication Services
    Copying
    Interoffice Mail
    Announcements
    Substitute Teacher and Volunteer/Guest Services
    Submitting Custodial and Technical Maintenance Requests
    Filing, Organization
    Recordkeeping & Following School Record Retention Procedures
    School Website, Social Media Communications
    Other projects and duties as assigned

Certification and Experience:
  • Administrative assistant experience preferred
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
