Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. Responsibilities include but not limited to: * The Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
* Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
* Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
* Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership
* Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner
* Conduct classification reviews
* Identify and assess sources for classification determinations Minimum Qualifications: * HS Diploma and 12 or more years of relevant security experience or Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of relevant security experience or Masters/Doctorate and 3 or more years of relevant security experience * Ability to handle complex security classification issues
* Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
* Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it's implementing directive
* Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
* Ability to utilize effective writing, communication and research skills
* Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to assist the government in the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)
* Experience working with industrial security staffs
* Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
* Working knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements Security Requirements: * Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
