Job description

Job Title: Project Mgr III Location: Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas. TX/Cleveland, OH/Pheonix, AZ Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine business cases for new capital initiatives.
  • Analyze technology requests, develop cost estimates, and assess financial impacts.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and capital planning guidelines.
  • Lead the annual budget planning process for technology initiatives.
  • Track actuals vs. budget throughout the year, identifying variances and risks.
  • Ensure project costs follow internal controls and financial guidelines.
  • Track initiative progress across the portfolio, including milestones, spend, and forecasts.
  • Manage and update initiative packages, ensuring all components are complete for approval.
  • Support technology managers by championing initiative progress through internal processes.
  • Operate in an Agile environment, shifting responsibilities based on project needs.
  • Participate in and lead weekly meetings to coordinate stakeholders and ensure momentum.
  • Facilitate communication between business, finance, tech leads, sourcing, and contracts.
  • Serve as liaison between technology teams and supporting functions (finance, sourcing, etc.).
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and blockers to leadership and project managers.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and executive-ready updates as needed.
