Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
The Senior Analyst, Claims Litigation, manages complex workers’ compensation and general liability claims with a focus on litigation risk and resolution. This role involves reviewing claim reports, coordinating with internal and external legal partners, and overseeing litigation strategies to ensure timely and compliant outcomes. The position requires negotiation expertise, claims adjudication within authority limits, and effective communication with stakeholders. The analyst also mentors colleagues, supports process improvements, and ensures adherence to regulatory and company standards while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting performance goals.
  About the team:
The Claims Litigation team manages complex workers’ compensation and general liability claims with a focus on resolution and risk mitigation. The team collaborates closely with leadership, in-house and outside counsel to develop strategies that ensure timely and effective claim outcomes. Members oversee litigation progress, negotiate settlements, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. The team supports continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and applying best practices. This group is committed to delivering accurate, efficient claims management while upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  What you'll do:
  • Review and analyze initial claim reports to determine compensability and identify potential fraud indicators.
  • Manage a caseload of complex workers’ compensation and general liability claims, focusing on litigation risk.
  • Collaborate with leadership, in-house, and outside counsel to align on claim strategy and resolution.
  • Oversee outside counsel to monitor litigation progress and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and present claims in strategic reviews to secure settlement authority.
  • Establish and escalate reserves within authority limits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Negotiate and resolve claims with involved parties, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Mentor associates on complex claims handling and litigation processes.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience managing complex workers’ compensation and general liability claims, including those at risk for litigation.
  • Proven expertise in litigation management, claims resolution, and negotiation strategies to achieve timely and effective outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of claims processing, legal discovery, and regulatory compliance within jurisdictional statutes.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal leadership, in-house counsel, and outside counsel to align on strategy and resolution paths.
  • Demonstrated skill in mentoring associates and providing expert guidance on complex claims and litigation processes.
  • Proficiency in establishing accurate reserves, adjudicating claims within authority limits, and managing payments for medical treatments and indemnity.
This is an onsite position, based in Bentonville AR.
