Job Description We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join the team at a local church in Petoskey, MI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and supporting daily office operations in a welcoming environment. The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Responsibilities: Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed Complete, organize, and maintain office paperwork and records Perform data entry and update information accurately Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized Manage and update the Google Calendar, including scheduling events and appointments Assist with general office tasks and administrative duties Provide support to staff and help with day-to-day office needs Maintain confidentiality and handle information with professionalism Qualifications: Previous office, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers and office software Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Reliable, professional, and able to work independently This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people and wants to contribute to a positive, community-focused environment.
