Job description

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations. The Sous Chef helps lead the culinary team, ensures food quality and consistency, and maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise, train, and support line cooks and prep staff
  • Ensure all dishes meet quality, presentation, and portion standards
  • Oversee food prep, cooking, and plating during service
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and reduce food waste
  • Step in for the Executive Chef when needed
  • Maintain a positive, professional kitchen culture
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety
