Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Service Delivery Leader, SME Underwriting
In this role as an Underwriting Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will be responsible for driving growth (through continuous market penetration) of the Underwriting practice globally with a specific focus on North America.
You will achieve this by developing and executing strategies and tactics directly translatable into tangible benefits for the underwriting functions of insurance organisations. Your contributions will be broad encompassing management consulting leading or supporting the development of digital AI and agentic capabilities identifying market trends and opportunities managing existing digital and non-digital assets and supporting the expansion of Genpacts global presence within underwriting carriers. This role will be focused on P&C insurance markets with primary emphasis on commercial and specialty segments and secondary emphasis on Personal Lines. Experience in Life and Broking organisations would be of additional benefit but is not a critical requirement.
Some local and international travel will be required constituting up to 35% of the role. Travel locations will primarily be within North America and occasionally other regions.
The role requires a self-starter able to work under his/her own initiative with marginal supervision. The role does not have supervisory responsibilities. The ability to work remotely in a collaborative manner across geographies and functions is critical.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of several Genpacts Insurance Underwriting products/solutions.
- This aspect is similar to a Product Management role.
- Co-managing (along with Genpacts client relationship team) a portfolio of existing Genpact insurance underwriting clients.
- Developing new products and solutions (or improving those in existence) organically or through external partnerships and collaborations with the objective that these solutions contribute towards transforming the insurance underwriting segment.
- Developing and managing go-to-market strategies for assigned products and customer markets designed to achieve annual revenue and sales targets.
- Participating and often leading responses to RF Ps and business proposals for potential and existing clients.
- Providing thought leadership market knowledge and a solutions-driven perspective to internal and external audiences regularly.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is:
80,500 to 100,000 USD
