Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for managing the physical workplace - inclusive of programs, products, and services - that helps enable Amazonians to do their best work. The globally diverse team oversees Amazon's corporate offices in more than 60 countries.

GREF programs, products, and services include day-to-day facilities management, on-site food and beverage offerings, commute programs, environmental health & safety, sustainability, launching new corporate offices, and moving employees.
As a content and channel operations manager, you'll be leading strategy and driving operational effectiveness for our communications platforms used to inform and engage a very diverse population of Amazon corporate employees. These platforms include email, Slack, and internal website content. You'll help us Invent & Simplify our content strategy across GREF programs and corporate offices with globally scalable but locally relevant templates, guidelines, SOPs, and best practices

You'll work with product and tech teams to ensure our website content is optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO, and you'll ideate and develop AI tools that help communications managers and site-level teams better understand how to leverage various comms channels and create and deploy content with speed and ease.
This position is perfect for professionals who excel in both communications and operational rigor. They will know how end users best digest content; they are equally proficient in editorial and technical writing; they have a strong understanding of AI; and they excel at project and program management.

This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on, tactical execution, a person who can take creative, big ideas for content and bring them to life in operationally efficient, sustainable, and scalable ways through clearly defined process. Key job responsibilities
- Define and govern the strategic purpose, tone and voice, target audience, and operational guardrails for all GREF communication channels.
- Draft SOPs and guidelines for channel usage and content standards. Build repeatable, AI-assisted or manual workflows to scale content production and delivery


- Develop Slack, email, and website templates and write content that optimizes for both user experience and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
- Working cross-functionally with tech and product teams, develop AI tools to assist in channel monitoring and auto-response workflows.
- Use reporting tools to analyze channel metrics and content effectiveness, evaluating audience engagement, traffic, conversion/click-thru rates, and ROI.
- Leverage data and insights to identify areas for continuous improvement and evolve strategy, templates, and operations accordingly.

The GREF Communications team fully formed as a strategic function of the GREF organization in 2024. The team consists of communications and channel and content experts across Seattle, Arlington, London, Luxembourg and Singapore

We connect GREF's products, programs, and services to Amazon's global corporate workforce. The team owns the full communications lifecycle across six pillars: strategic planning & narrative, asset production, channel management, campaign timing & orchestration, cross-functional alignment, issues management. Additionally, the team supports internal-to-GREF employee communications, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient information, news, and updates-sharing across the organization.
