ABOUT THE ROLE...
The Director of Global Trade & Channel Marketing will lead the worldwide development and execution of trade and channel marketing strategies to enhance STG handmade cigar brand visibility, optimize product performance, and accelerate commercial growth across diverse online, retail and other sales channels. This role requires deep expertise in channel-specific strategy development and strong capability to manage complex sales ecosystems across multiple geographies, channels, and markets.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
  • Create and execute a strategic vision for trade and channel marketing, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Lead creation of unified global trade and channel marketing strategy for Handmade Cigars
  • Develop global channel blueprints and frameworks.
  • Drive revenue growth through global and local sales initiatives to help the sales teams achieve budget targets.
  • Lead market activation & regional execution leadership, including developing and implementing global activation standards
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
  • Oversee global trade marketing budgets and establish governance processes.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Act as liaison between brand marketing, sales, and other global groups
  • Partner with brand marketing and sales to develop and execute promotional campaigns and data-driven strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of progressive experience, developing, designing, and implementing marketing strategies across multiple channels and global markets
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Highly collaborative, excellent communicator, strong interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Retail or Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets with P&L responsibility.
  • Experience with omnichannel, wholesale, and retail strategies and digital transformation is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
