Title: Project Manager
Duration: 5 Months
Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
Description
This project is a business process design project to support 5 departments within NW Natural that are involved in Generator sales.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small to mediumcomplexity projects, assuming accountability for delivering results
  • Manage project team,including NWN and external resources
  • Develop project plans,budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using NWN PMO toolsand templates
  • Conduct analyses to estimateand track project costs and budgets
  • Define resource requirementsand negotiate availability with resource managers
  • Manage vendor relationshipsto align vendor schedules, costs, and deliverables with the overallproject plan
  • Establish, maintain, andupdate project risk log. Resolve project issues and escalate asappropriate
  • Manage project change controland follow existing policies
  • Ensure project-relateddocumentation is accurate and complete

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of projectmanagement experience
  • PMI or equivalentcertification preferred
  • Demonstrated success applyingproject management concepts and techniques across multiple, simultaneousprojects
  • Strong communication andpresentation skills across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated analyticalskills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention todetail
