Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement change management strategies and communication plans that drive associate engagement and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Operations leadership to analyze organizational needs, design change initiatives, and execute communication strategies. Creating change management solutions for an hourly, production workforce of warehouse associates and accessory installers will require innovation and design thinking principles to reinforce change strategies. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of change management principles, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. From time to time, the consultant may work as a member of the Human Resources team to support daily business partner responsibilities, including associate relations issues and/or concerns with ability to escalate issues as appropriate.As a Consultant, Change and Communication you will:

  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to assess change requirements and develop comprehensive change management strategies by identifying potential risks, obstacles, and resistance to change, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts
  • Develop, refine and implement comprehensive communication strategies that engage and inspire associates
  • Develops and manages workforce communication and engagement strategies through active communications using company communication tool (Staffbase), presentations, newsletters, electronic boards, PowerPoint, videos, to inform and educate associates about changes.
  • Create high-quality written materials, including leader messaging, presentations, talking points, internal announcements, and project testimonials for available communication channels.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand key stakeholder needs, concerns, and expectations, and develop strategies to address them effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster a culture of open communication.
  • Collaborate with the learning and development team to develop training programs that support change initiatives.
  • Deliver training sessions to equip associates with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate changes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders to help them effectively lead their teams through change.
  • Collect feedback from associates and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to change strategies and communication plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in change management and communications, and share insights and recommendations with clients and internal teams.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
  • Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Psychology, Public Relations or related field of study. Req
  • 7-9 years experience in the internal corporate communication or in a related area; or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience Required
  • Proven experience in change management, organizational development, or related roles. Required
  • Must have experience in crafting messages for an hourly, production workforce. Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences and channels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize conversations into key takeaways and action items.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with communication and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
  • Certified Change Management Professional Preferred
  • SBA - Spanish Bilingual Assistance Certificate Preferred
