Stefanini is looking for a Program Managerย ,ย Auburn Hills, MI


The Propulsion HVAC & Engine Systems (Fuel, Exhaust, Intake, and Cooling) Program Manager will ensure global coherence, commonality, and coordination across Modules, Platforms, Top Hats, and Programs for HVAC & Engine Systems, while reporting program status and milestone reviews to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control unit-level activities such as design modifications, packaging issue resolution, production standards, readiness at Stellantis milestones, SCA implementation, KPIs, risk analysis, test plans, sourcing, weight, cost convergence, style feasibility, and validation.
  • Manage product safety and durability studies.
  • Guarantee process feasibility in collaboration with manufacturing.
  • Oversee plant readiness to secure budget convergence at and after the Contract Milestone.
  • Manage workload deviations and execute escalation processes.
  • Coordinate unit team participation in development phases.
  • Lead hot housing kick-offs and support regional Sub-System Technical Leads in technical/design reviews and issue resolution.
  • Develop responses to vehicle line investigations.
  • Control technical solutions for platforms and modules, approve design changes, and address lessons learned across programs and regions.
  • Meet cost, quality, performance, and planning targets, ensuring compliance with Internal Control System rules.
  • Responsible and accountable for application deliverables, detailed application design, and implementation to meet vehicle timeline.
  • Manage a team of engineers.
  • Oversee development and deliver to production service delivery platform's systems/components and technology, ensuring specifications and designs meet best practices.
  • Provide guidance and feedback on system interface designs to project and architecture teams.
  • Participate in and manage team utilizing multiple software development life cycles including Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies.
  • Offer solutions and designs to solve process, project, or program issues; provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage business and technical stakeholders and produce design documents suitable for multiple audience types, both client-facing and internal.

Experience Required

  • Experience with HVAC systems and/or engine systems, including one or more of the following:ย 
  • Fuel systems
  • Exhaust systems
  • Intake systems
  • Cooling systems
  • Familiarity with multiple software development life cycles including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in overseeing system interface designs.

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree

Education Preferred

  • Master's Degree, Certification Program
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.
