Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
  • Perform circulating nurse duties across general and robotic surgical cases
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 4-OR unit environment
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
  • Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
  • Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, including one day per week and one weekend per month
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Proficiency in circulating for general and robotic surgical cases
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
  • Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with Cerner EMR documentation
  • Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms and associated circulating responsibilities
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical services setting
